Writer's block doesn't exist if you write for tv which is where I got my start. You don't have time because the deadline is too close. That being said, the reason it doesn't exist is because I don't start to write unless I have "broken" the story first. That is a technical term which means I've come up with every major beat in the book before I've written a word. The writing is the fun part. If I get stuck I plow through and revise later. As they say, "Don't let perfection be the enemy of good." Once I have a first draft, then comes the revisions to make it better." (less)
