Retired from over thirty years of nursing, time opened up to finally finish my first novel. It was a labor of love and torture and now that it is ready for the world, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and ready to work on the sequel!

When not writing, I paint in oils and watercolour, sail and snorkel with friends in the Caribbean and as of a few weeks ago spoil my new grandson. Life is good.

Block isn't so much my problem as finding balance between life's demands and my need to write. Life, especially lately with the arrival of my first grandchild, too often has other ideas for scheduling my time. I am still trying to negotiate a feasible working/writing schedule with myself.
