When I met telephonically with the publishing staff (they're on …moreI agree -- I felt so fortunate to receive such lovely packaging for Meridian's story. When I met telephonically with the publishing staff (they're on the east coast; I'm in NM), they asked what I envisioned for a cover image. I said what had come to mind for me was the periodic table of the elements with crows climbing all over it -- but something feminine. I gather I was not the only person to picture the cover this way -- some staff at Algonquin shared my vision. The end result, which adds so much color and variety to my original mental picture is magnificent, isn't it? Thank you for your interest in my novel!(less)
