Ha. The thing that helps me the most is to give myself a daily word count and then try and stick to it. Uh oh, see what I just wrote? I said, "try." I should say, "I will stick to it." What's helpful to remember about writer's block is that it is usually your own head getting in the way. Several things besides a daily word count helps tricking me into writing: writing late at night, writing when I'm rushed, writing on little scraps of paper when I'm in odd places, like going through the car wash or waiting at the doctor's office.(less)
