As a child, Elizabeth Ann (Busse) lived near Appleton, Minnesota. The fifth of six siblings born of entrepreneurial parents who specialized in seed cleaning and crop production, she grew up exploring nature on the shoreline of a beautiful lake--the ultimate place to develop an artistic, creative spirit. Appreciation of music, visual, industrial and performing arts ignited joy in her childhood home where growth in Christian faith was number one priority.

After acquiring an Associate of Applied Science degree in Alexandria, Minnesota, she began her career as a commercial artist at a quality oriented print shop in Brookings, South Dakota before moving to Kansas where Elizabeth grew professionally in Salina, along with the print and communication industry technology, as a progressive graphic designer for over 28 years. She opened FreshRetroGallery.etsy in 2010 which offers family gifts for baby, parents, grandparents and in-laws: illustrated ancestry and descendant genealogy charts and notebooks; as well as downloadable, printable graphic designs.

Pushing the envelope to develop and utilize God-given talent and skills, she delves into life with great curiosity. She enjoys peaceful exercises which include swimming laps in a pool and taking long walks exploring Lake Waconia in Minnesota.

Her known ancestry is 50% German and 50% Norwegian. Striving to balance work with exercise, family, friends, entertainment, hobbies and church, she is eager to share the Gospel of Jesus--Christian faith--with anyone who’s open to learn about it and be inspired.

Faith is a primary source of Elizabeth’s inspiration. She is at home with the church family in the confessional Christian denomination Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). She believes the Bible IS the Word of God.
