Hi Reno
PRIVATEERS is set in the West Indies--Haiti, Jamaica, and the Bahamas--just prior to the Haiti earthquake in 2010. It's a messy collision of adventurers and "pirates," government and otherwise, on a treasure hunt for the $26 million the US Marines removed from Haiti’s Banque Nationale on December 17, 1914, at the beginning of WWI. You might want to Google "Luckner Cambronne, the Vampire of the Caribbean," Papa Doc's boss of the Tontons Macoutes; "the Krays" from London, and "Anne Cormac Bonny." Looks like PRIVATEERS will publish in late 2017. Hope you like it.
