J.L. Pattison is the author of suspenseful contemporary speculative fiction for modern-day thought criminals.

J.L. Pattison won Libertopia’s “Best Libertarian Fiction” award two years in a row, and his uniquely clever tales with twist endings have garnered him favorable comparisons to Ray Bradbury, Rod Serling, and M. Night Shyamalan. His latest book, The Monster In The Well, is now available.

One of my biggest fears is laboring over a story only to find out it has a twin out there somewhere.

I checked into the book you mentioned and discovered it's less similar than it sounds. It looks like the only similarities between my short fiction and this (alleged) non-fiction are: 1). Time travel; 2). A glimpse into an ominous future; and 3). A letter vs a diary.

After reading the description I think there are enough differences for me to sleep better at night. :-)(less)

Looking for honest reviews.

I am looking to generate more interest in my latest book, and potentially increase the number of reviews it has on Amazon.

The book is titled The Man Who Thought He Could Fly, and it is a collection of 12 suspenseful short stories (contemporary speculative fiction) told in a fashion reminiscent of The Twilight Zone.

If you're interested you can find out more about the book on my website JLPattison.c Read more of this blog post »
