Stop it and Drop it!

If something isn't working I put it down, that's it, and I start another project. I come back to whatever was not working eventually, sometimes it takes years and years. I have one book that is still waiting after about 20 years. However, I usually take up something else that interests me and move on.(less)

She was born the 19th child in her family and a twin. Her twin died in infancy. They were born on Annunc

Christine’s Recent Updates

Christine Calabrese is starting All the Pretty Horses: Off to a fantastic start, excellent writing style. Sentences that are coupled into paragraphs for good reason... A train, descriptions are vivid. So far so good, I'm in, I dropped Ivanhoe, I just can't get through it. Thank goodness my husband found this book!

It took a little time to get used to the old English and following the story in the beginning was a bit bumpy but once I understood what was going on, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Highly recommend for entertainment and literature.

"I love(d) this book and was torn between 4 and 5 stars. Can we call it 4.5? Heck, let's just say 5! I read it first long ago and it holds up well over the years (its and yours). A classic for a reason.

"Interesting interpretation of St. Luke's life. Not Gospel by any means, but still worth reading.

This book is light, funny, silly, and full of descriptions that you think are too long but really are not.
Like watching a cute comedy! An old-fashioned drink or something you really enjoy. You want to sip it and read it slowly.
