What I'll do is break out one of the little lego sets and build exactly whats on the box or in the instructions.

Then I toss the box and instructions away, rip apart what I've built and then just build something random. Nine times out of ten it really works.

I will also play video games, open world games are the best for writers block, the key is to not actually play the game but just wander around and get into trouble.

When I'm really desperate I hit the heavy bag or take a walk, but that's a last resort as it never works as well for me as the first two.(less)

Thank you for your comment jane i really appreciate it. Ive been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit and have been to pretty much all the places i write about (except Egypt but i researched that one). Hopefully youll enjoy the next installment as well.

And if its not too much trouble id love it if you posted a review or clicked on some stars and gave it a rating.

Thanks for stopping by and being my goodreads friend.

Jane Lehrer I read The Geek and was intrigued by the international mayhem that radiates from the pages of this novel. The description of each location around the world made me think Jonathan knows each place intimately. The characters in The Geek are deliciously disturbing and the events made me sit up and take notice. I loved the ending.
