Jennifer Jensen is an award-winning writer who wouldn’t be without her computer or smart phone, but still dreams of living in the olden days. Until someone invents a working time machine, she lives in Indiana and makes do with plenty of imagination, loads of books and as much Dr. Who as the BBC will produce.

She’s a longtime member of SCBWI and has received two Indiana Arts Commission grants for her fiction. Through the Shimmer of Time was her first novel. The sequel, RESCUE Through the Shimmer of Time, will be available for pre-order soon.

She blogs at JenniferJensen.com and loves to hear from readers. (And she'll even answer you back!)

Good, but not as good as his father. I miss the snap and crispness to the pros. Mystery is still good.

Wendy Shalit
“Modesty answers not the crude how of femininity, but the beautiful why.”
Wendy Shalit, A Return to Modesty: Discovering the Lost Virtue

“I believe that a godly home is a foretaste of heaven. Our homes, imperfect as they are, must be a haven from the chaos outside. They should be a reflection of our eternal home, where troubled souls find peace, weary hearts find rest, hungry bodies find refreshment, lonely pilgrims find communion, and wounded spirits find compassion.”
Jani Ortlund

Lucy Mack Smith
“We must cherish one another, watch over one another, comfort one another, and gain instruction that we may all sit down in heaven together.”

Tom Clancy
“Success is a finished book, a stack of pages each of which is filled with words. If you reach that point, you have won a victory over yourself no less impressive than sailing single-handed around the world. ”
Tom Clancy

Tom Clancy
“You learn to write the same way you learn to play golf... You do it, and keep doing it until you get it right. A lot of people think something mystical happens to you, that maybe the muse kisses you on the ear. But writing isn’t divinely inspired – it’s hard work.”
Tom Clancy

Arthur Hall Hi Jennifer.
Thanks for 'friending' me. I write spy stories and Sherlock Holmes pastiches, with the occasional deviation into fantasy. I hope our paths cross often, here and elsewhere.

Just joined - this is going to be interesting. Should be lots of good book ideas (as if I need more), but don't know how I'll juggle the time with WANA and everything else. How much time do you spend on Goodreads?
