Sally Britton is sixth generation Texan, received her BA in English forever ago, and reads voraciously. She started her writing journey at the tender age of fourteen on an electric typewriter, and she’s never looked back.

Sally lives in Oklahoma with her husband, four children, and their overly energetic Australian Shepherds, cat, and snake named Nancy. She loves researching, hiking, and eating too much chocolate.

PictureENTJ: Extraverts, You're AwesomeSince I shared Jessica's personality test, I thought it only fair to share the hero's too! Here's a look at James, an ENTJ (Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging).

Here's why I think that works out:

1. Extraverted (E): James is super comfortable in social situations, like balls and parties, and often takes initiative, such as hatching their plan to sabotage courts Read more of this blog post »

Lady Hartwell clapped her hands once, delighted. “Then everything will come right in the end. I always say, if young people are going to find themselves in dramatic situations, they might as well come out of them with an engagement.”

This book had me in the first chapter. Lady Emily’s family entered the peerage recently and she has no idea how to act. She’s trying to play a part, keep out of trouble, not bother anyone, and hopefully marry for love. Lyn" Read more of this review »

“What matters is living without regrets, and loving without fear. I wish to make every moment we have together count. I love you. With my whole heart.”
Sally Britton, Rescuing Lord Inglewood

“What was it about children, the tiniest in particular, that made one view life differently?”
Sally Britton, Engaging Sir Isaac

“Loss is like walking through the dark, hoping for the sunrise. There are times you doubt it will ever come, but eventually the sun must rise. For now, we must count ourselves blessed we do not walk alone. We have each other.”
Sally Britton, Rescuing Lord Inglewood

“What matters is living without regrets, and loving without fear. I wish to make every moment we have together count. I love you. With my whole heart.”
Sally Britton, Rescuing Lord Inglewood

“Please, don’t spend this time in regrets. We cannot stop living because we fear losing the people we love. And we cannot give up when they leave us. Life is about treasuring the happy times, our dearest family and friends, while we have them.”
Sally Britton, Branches of Love Boxed Set, Books 1-3

“Writing is an occupation in which you have to keep proving your talent to people who have none.”
Jules Renard 1890

“Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is.
Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being in love, which any fool can do. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident.
Those that truly love have roots that grow towards each other underground, and, when all the pretty blossoms have fallen from their branches, they find that they are one tree and not two.”
Louis de Bernières, Corelli’s Mandolin
