I live on the south coast of England with my husband and our cat. I spend my days writing, reading and volunteering in my local charity bookshop.

Wake Up is my first novel, although, I have had several short stories published in a variety of magazines. I write horror and contemporary fiction.

I have countless favourite authors and am working on getting a tattoo of each of my favourite novels.

I might put an excerpt on my blog before then if the writing is going well!(less)

From there, I wrote what I thought was the opening chapter. In the final draft, everything is shifted around and that chapter now appears towards the end. It made more sense that way. So yes, it all started with a short story that had legs.(less)

Can You Help Me?

So, I have found my dream home (hubby likes it too).  It is a little 2 bed house in my home village, away from the hustle and bustle.  It’s near to the shore, so I can go on my inspirational walks, and most importantly, it is safe there. I went to view it yesterday as […] Read more of this blog post »
