Vicky was born in North Yorkshire, which will always be her one true home. She studied English Language at Lancaster, then completed a masters degree in Object Conservation at Durham University.

An objects conservator by trade, she enjoys everything history related and loves the fact that she has been able to help restore some of the most amazing objects in Britain. She has dabbled in sword fighting, knife throwing, and kickboxing. Vicky is also a keen baker and loves baking treats for her friends and family.

There's one thing I've tried numerous times and it seems to work so it's now my go to solution. I live in North Yorkshire so if the Writer's block attacks then I'll go for a nice long walk, stick my phone to record and chatter to myself about whatever I'm writing. I don't know if it's being away from the judgemental computer screen or simply the fresh air but my mind clears and suddenly the words flow. (less)

I've always had a bit of an imagination (understatement) and I love stepping inside the worlds I create. It's great to finally let other people join me and step into those same worlds. I like the thought of taking people on an adventure and hopefully they'll enjoy it as much as I have.(less)
