Chelsea Fisher was born in King’s Lynn in 1986 to a cleaner and a forklift driver. She studied Film and American Studies at UEA, before completing a Masters in Film at Exeter University.

Chelsea is a Social Media Executive and vlogs as Ophelia Dagger, with over 30,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Her debut novel When We Were Alive is partially inspired by her parents’ relationship; her Dad had to give up work when she was eight after a breakdown and her mum became his carer. Other parts of my novel were inspired by the years she regrettably spent drinking.
