The beauty of writing is that I can live a thousand lives.

I love exploring other worlds and delving into my characters mind and heart. I love becoming their voice.

For me, when I'm writing my senses are heightened. I see more, feel more, smell more, and taste more, because my mind is putting together words that will hopefully make readers tune into my vision.(less)

Failure only exists if you quit. There are so many times it was easy for me just to say f-it...

Rejections are tough. They can beat you and beat you, make you think that you're just not good enough. If you have a story brewing inside you that you just can't let go of, don't.

With all that being said, don't be arrogant. Yes, you may have a unique and brilliant idea for a story but like any craft, it takes time, effort, and revision.

Write the books you want to read.
Don't write to fit trends, set them. (less)

The best book I’ve listened to this year.
The narration was sublime. I absolutely loved the characters, even though I found myself getting frustrated at the women, but I guess that is what toxic relationships can foster. This is a sure 5 star read.
