I'm a Kiwi-American author of numerous stories and articles as well as two novels. I was a soldier during the Vietnam era and had two terrific engineering careers in the US automotive and software business, before transitioning to full time writing.

I divide my time between a small horse ranch in the beautiful Waitakere Ranges north of Auckland New Zealand, and a base in Long Beach, Southern California.

I'm presently working on a followup to Redemption Cove, set in southern France, and another Israeli terrorism novel.

Thanks for reading and look for more of my work here soon.

 Hello Visitor;
One of the most remarkable things about the beautiful Northwest is how the people intermingle with it. My novel REDEMPTION COVE attempts to capture the quirkiness of this in things like airlock entrances for shaking off the snow, and in particular the uniqueness of some of the buildings. At some places in the world I've seen, the people seem extrusions of the land, for instanc Read more of this blog post »

“The division was done in the traditional high-handed, father-knows-best imperial manner, some say by two drunks in a tent with a ruler, using geographic features such as the Jordan River as guidelines without wasting time consulting the actual inhabitants.”
