Hi Bob,
only just seen these and your question on my blog.
Yes that photo is mine-my Dad Fred Murray is on it along with his two brothers Frank and Brian, along with his cousins Patricia Curran and Richard Hamnett.
My Dad passes in 2003, and sadly Frank died young, not long after that photograph. Brian is still with us though, I’ll mention you and your brother to him. And yes you are welcome to use the photograph 👍

New Poetry Collection

In Brigantia by Andrew James Murray Announcing the publication of my new collection, In Brigantia.

‘Andrew James Murray's second collection invites you to Brigantia, territory of Celtic tribe the Brigantes. It is a Brigantia of both geography and imagination, where Queen Cartimandua rubs shoulders with screen goddess Marilyn Monroe, and Tom Cruise is proselytising upon the streets of Manchester.’ Read more of this blog post »

Great collection housing all of my fave Le Fanu (except spalatro part two).
Though his star may have waned, criminally ignored in contrast to the likes of Poe, Le Fanu is top drawer, hugely influential to the writers who followed. He was championed by

While the essays are interesting but slight, I loved reading in these eight short stories some ‘new’ fiction from Harper Lee.
