Full time single father. Full time writer. I only write the kinds of books I want to read. Yes I'm aware my books are better than 90% of the weekend warrior hobbyist garbage out there. No there is nothing wrong with knowing you're good at something. I only write to impress one person so if you dig the books then let her know it's all for her so that she can feel good all the time. You're entitled to think anything you want but the truth will always be the truth so don't bother arguing. Just go grab one of my books and enjoy it.
