From a young age, I've always been very passionate about creative writing and art. While studying for a degree in Graphic Design, I started writing the book that would become the beginning of the Red Sky Series. A Red Sky Is Upon Us was my debut novel, prompting me to continue the story. It is continued in A Red Sky Has Fallen.

As a writer, I like to take actual historical periods and add my own spin to them. With the Red Sky Series, I take the period right after the Golden Age of Piracy and add magic. With the other ideas still floating around in my head, I could add anything from pure fantasy to the weirdly paranormal. I want my imagination to run wild. ...more

Sometimes, the stories that I have in my head get changed because the characters do something that I had not planned for. It is both liberating and a bit confusing at times, but I still love it.(less)
