Steven Kuehn is a professional archaeologist working in the Midwest and has over 25 years of field and laboratory experience dealing with the identification, excavation, analysis, and interpretation of prehistoric and historic archaeological sites. He specializes in the analysis of faunal (animal) remains and has examined bone and shell from sites across North America. After preparing hundreds of technical reports and scholarly articles, the call of mystery fiction grew irresistible and Steve began chronicling the adventures of Professor Jacob Caine, archaeologist and reluctant sleuth. One Jake Caine short story, Talked to Death, was published online in Mysterical-E. Sunken Dreams is his first fiction novel, with future novels in the works.

In Ghost Bog, Jake and his crew are investigating a 7,000 year old bison kill site in northwestern Wisconsin - with a human skeleton mixed in with the bison remains! Excavating a significant site like this is a challenge, and is further complicated when tensions arise in the form of a colleague with a hidden agenda, some not-so-friendly locals, and an outside archaeologist hoping to take control of the site for himself. Ghost Bog will have some old faces and some new characters, and more than a few twists and turns before the truth comes out.

Glad you enjoyed Sunken Dreams, and I hope you will look for Ghost Bog when it is published. Thank you for your review, and congratulations once again on winning the giveaway.(less)
