The first book I've written inspired a bunch of other ideas, so I'm busy with at least 3 other ideas for books, one of which is already written with a preliminary draft manuscript.(less)

To keep the story short, one of them talked to me abo…more3 friends of mine that were in the military revealed issues with their significant others to me. To keep the story short, one of them talked to me about relationship problems with his wife, and while we were on a short deployment, she ended up with someone else. Over time, things that could have been resolved lingered. The next short one month deployment or exercise we did, when he got back there was a confrontation between him and the wife's "boyfriend." He was shot and killed. I didn't want anyone else to go through what he went through all because of misunderstandings in their relationships. That was the tipping point. Prior to this, I'd been documenting and "counseling" people for several years on their relationships. It wasn't on purpose. After my friend was killed, I took all that documentation and put it into a book. That's the short story.(less)
