D.O'Brien has worked for 13 years for a major Metropolitan News Paper, first of all for Fairfax, then Murdoch.
She has restored and renovated original Queenslanders. A couple of years as a Real Estate Consultant, and finally, the rest of her working life self-employed in her own Importing/Wholesaling Business. She has a College Cert. in Business. She has always had a great love of books and yearned to 'just write' for as long as she can remember.
Her all time favourites are; the entire Dune Series, Thomas Covenant, The Golden Torc and most of all, the entire Wheel of Time Series.
She has always had a love of Stephen King, but more so for his writing skills than his storylines.
