I have about 15,000 words written on the next installment of Flux. I have been letting them stew a little bit, but I feel the words swimming in my head again and I have this feeling they are about ready to spill out on paper. I don’t want to give too much away, but I can tell you a little. There is a giant underwater cruise ship!! Okay, that’s enough for now.

Hello friend,

Well my heart brokenness is solved. I found the first copy of my proof still in its package on my doorstep this morning. Either someone returned it or I was just blonde and missed it the last two days. Thank you to that unknown person that put it there if that was the case.

The proof looks amazing! I fixed a few little details like the gutter and some cover positioning, but as soon as it goes through the review process, the paperback will be approved and available to the public on Amazon.com. Hoping that will happen tomorrow!!

Hello friend!

Here is an update on the printed proof. I ordered it and spent extra money to get it shipped here faster. It said it was to be delivered on Wednesday, but it was actually delivered on Tuesday according to UPS tracking. You think that would be good news, except I never received it. I check with the front office and everything. So it was probably delivered to someone else and they either kept it or threw it. I do hope that my book finds it into the hands of someone that enjoys it.

I put in a claim to UPS, who called me. They said there was nothing they could do and I would have to call the shipper. So I called CreateSpace and talked to a very nice man named Charles. I explained how heart broken I was that my very first book was lost. He said he just went through this with another client and that UPS was a hassle to work with and it would take a long time for it all to get worked out, if it even did.

He said he would send me another copy of my proof and have it to me as fast as possible for no charge. Yay! In six days I should, hopefully, have the proof in my hands and can click “Approve Proof” on CreateSpace.

Hello friend!

I am a new writer, just starting out. I have been working on my first book for the last four years, mostly during the summer while on break. I am a physics teacher, so I like to use concepts in my writing that are related to physics, even if it is a little stretched. My first book, FLUX: Freedom, just published on Amazon Kindle February 2nd. It would be wonderful if I got a few reviews.

I just finished the digital proof of my hard copy and should receive it this Wednesday. The wait is killing me. I do hope the paperback comes out clean because I am so excited to hit that approve proof on CreateSpace. It’s like an itch I just have to scratch.
