Hello friend!
Here is an update on the printed proof. I ordered it and spent extra money to get it shipped here faster. It said it was to be delivered on Wednesday, but it was actually delivered on Tuesday according to UPS tracking. You think that would be good news, except I never received it. I check with the front office and everything. So it was probably delivered to someone else and they either kept it or threw it. I do hope that my book finds it into the hands of someone that enjoys it.
I put in a claim to UPS, who called me. They said there was nothing they could do and I would have to call the shipper. So I called CreateSpace and talked to a very nice man named Charles. I explained how heart broken I was that my very first book was lost. He said he just went through this with another client and that UPS was a hassle to work with and it would take a long time for it all to get worked out, if it even did.
He said he would send me another copy of my proof and have it to me as fast as possible for no charge. Yay! In six days I should, hopefully, have the proof in my hands and can click “Approve Proof” on CreateSpace.
