Any flavour you want

Impulsive Bones – Collection of Poetry
Hi There,
You may have already read my previous book Desire, Despair & Desolation and I thank you for reviewing this book if you did. Unfortunately, this book did not do very well and I have now revised it adding images and adding some new poems, along with also publishing a new book.
Impulsive Bones (130 pages) is a follow up from my previous poetry book and has been extended with 50+ new poems. All of which are freshly written and I believe are more relatable.
It’s been a hard, long and even frustrating process but I have hope that it has paid off and that I have some success in my work, and if not, I will work harder to improve and revise every word.
You can now obtain a physical copy of my books and carry them wherever you go.
Impulsive Bones (Now available is paperback and also ebook)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1717840191
“Within this book are a range of poems that have been written over the past years at my most vulnerable states. They touch on all aspects of life and are valuable to anyone who finds peace in poetry and sees beauty in words. These poems are based on subjective experiences and how one can truly feel under the influence of living. Poetry is a form of expression like no other, it was available to me to write my thoughts, feelings and convey them in a way that felt comfortable and safe. I hope these poems help you with whatever you are dealing with currently and evoke a heartfelt response within you. Read with an open mind, and you will feel the words.”

I Am Me – a realisation
I have recently discovered how much I’ve changed, and I tell you it’s scary and weird but the realisation has suddenly given me a sense of self confidence that I’ve always been incapable of feeling I have. That feeling is something I want to hold onto because I finally feel I am speaking my mind and telling people how it is, how I really feel and that I am not to be stood on like a fucking fag.
I now feel that I am a person that knows what I want and who I am but not completely because knowing thyself is always a constant journey and our experiences both past and present always contribute to our perspectives changing and I think I quite like that.
I know that I’ve been abused and let down so much in the past, that I am literally past trying to impress or even get to know people, it’s not that I’m completely disconnected from society but that I don’t feel the need to validate myself. People have shown me how selfish and fake they can be and that is enough for me to give up but I know there are so many good people that are like no other.
It doesn’t disarm the fact that people don’t connect with me well as an average person would. My trouble has always been connecting with people and I get to a point where I exposure myself to situations and try to be more talkative, be more smiley, kind, funny but people don’t want to know me or they just see me and that’s it, they don’t really see the real me.
It’s like I’m an ant, a pest that needs to be destroyed. Does it bother me? A little but I get over it because I know that’s what I’m used to. Do I need to change and do more for small talk, deep conversations, friendships and relationships? At this moment, no because honestly, I’m sick of it. Call me pathetic but I think I’m naturally not interested in all that and as for deep conversations, no one around me really gives a fuck – hey ho.
Have I become selfish? Impatient? YES – I have and I finally understand why these traits are needed for me because I’ve been through trauma that only I know how I’ve felt and the lack of love, compassion and misunderstanding I’ve faced.
My trauma is the direct result of being selfless and being way to patient, taking people shit, letting people talk to me and then they used to it, and they keep throwing punches – and what has it led to? Pain and being taken advantage of.
Who wants to live a life of constantly being stood on? Letting people take away your sanity, humour and passion. No one has that right. I have so many passions that people have been aware of but I’ve constantly been put down and what have I done? Listed to them and moved away from what I want to achieve.
People may look at me and think I’m pessimistic but they don’t know me and have never really bothered to get to know me – so why should I try to be something that is suited to them? Or even explain myself.
My experiences are what have evolved me into what I am today and I am certain I will constantly change for the betterment of myself – what I know about me is what is real and what I know I want in life for my own self development is what I believe in and want to be.
I know there is a deep side to me that is caring, loving, understanding and willing to listen and understand carefully. I recognise sadness in people or pain that others have no time to realise, they just see one side but I can see beyond that and want to help and make a difference to people’s life.
My escape has always been things that are self-destructive but the passion for wanting to be something and do something has always been there even if I’m a self-destructive, narcissistic sadistic.
I am me and hope I don’t get to point of giving up because I appreciate my life and more importantly what I have – I have always been content materialistically but lacked affection to the point that you start to become a sort of boring person, because you don’t like things and you value morals and principals more than temporary assets.
People don’t care about that boring shit; they want and want the things that in reality, do not matter to some extent.
Do I feel sorry for myself? yes but I get on with life and just do my thing, I don’t let it drag me down or make my problems as important as the next person.
Do I need help? Probably but circumstances are, well just too bloody complex to even explain. Ah.

Going with The Flow – A Gateway to Patience & Calmness
A large element of peace and love is that it brings people together and opens doors to other worlds beyond our present comprehension, thus providing a high level of consciousness and giving us more positive energy to accelerate to new levels of consciousness and various mind-sets that we have not yet discovered.
The world beyond our present thinking is everlasting and is always expanding your mind to different lengths of breathing strategies and guidance to the places we want to be in giving us this peace and clarity builds our life into a much more fun and pleasant life as we are creating our own desirable and measured world in which we are not low but excited and happy.
A large part of our heart is consumed by the pressure of the world and knowing that we can dive into certain things in life is really what keeps a human being calm and positive, peaceful and tranquil.
It seems to be about looking into the weirdness that life creates and presents for us and fully experiencing these core elements in alignment to our current state of mind and body.
Looking into why we do certain actions we will realise that we don’t give our brain enough time to adjust to different environments, settings and events and states.
If we want to implement something new into our life’s, whatever it may be we will need to accept that time and effort are key components in achieving your goals and not impatience and ignorance and frustration.
The patience you hold is what will develop within yourself over time and create more happiness rather than unhappiness and a general messy life.
Having things in your life in movement and flow is crucial, the sooner you realise the more you will deal with incoming prospects more precisely and effectively.
Aiding this development
Water consumption on a regular basis regulates the body and mind to a state of stillness.
Various supplements/herbs can also help to create focus and calmness.
Moving the body and stretching is also an impressive technique to gain instance calmness and focus.
Having a balanced diet. Eating foods rich in vitamins/nutrient.
Spend time alone particularly in nature to observe thoughts.
Interact with people socially on a regular basis.
Although going with the flow is attractive and possibly something we all want to be able to integrate in our life’s, it can be hard sometimes to not get stressed, and sometimes that stress is good for us. But most people would agree that a constant lack of patience and a load of stress is not the way to live.
If you can develop your mind and body to work in sync to correspond with each other and make decisions that are meaningful and preserve situations with patience.
In saying all this, it is paramount to not let people overtake you and run all over you. Because going with the flow can unfortunately cause this if you get carried away and you will just basically say YES to everything but it is important to keep in mind to be:
Assertive
Confident
Self-Aware
Rational
Realistic
The river makes the water flow. That’s how I live. I just let everything flow. Flow with the river – Vitor Belfort
Powerful Benefits of Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha is an adaptogen that is able to figure out what the body needs, in turn helping you feel better overall.
There are many benefits to short and long term use of Ashwaganda. Studies have down ashwaganda to reduce anxiety and depression, lower blood sugar levels and much more.
I want to point out the main benefits that can aid people the most with different problems.
Stress Reduction
Ashwagandha has been shown to reduce stress with individuals who get stressed easily or have severe anxiety.
Researchers looked at the effects this herb had on the brain of a rat, which showed that it helped block the stress pathway by controlling the chemical balances in the nervous system.
Other human studies have shown that symptoms of stress and anxiety can be reduced with this herb, in an effective manner.
Thyroid Aid
One of the main benefits of Ashwagandha is the effect it can have on the thyroid, especially with those who have thyroid issues such as hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism and Hashimotos.
Reports show that this herb can help a slow and sluggish thyroid feel much more healthier and well.
Because our thyroid controls our hormones, when you have a thyroid condition the hormones are everywhere, therefore Ashwagandha can be a great help in bringing your hormones into balance and to adapt to what your body requires.
Stamina and Endurance Enhanced
Ashwagandha has been shown to increase endurance when performing physical activities and also helping you recover quality after exercise and body pain.
The calming effects of Ashwaganda have shown to reduce stress hormones, which makes a person feel better in general, have better concentration, increase motivation and more energy.
Studies that were conducted showed that when Ashwaganda was given to rats, they were able to swim faster and longer than other rates that were not give Ashwaganda.
Increase Blood Cells
Another great benefit of this amazing herb is that it has shown to increase red and white cells in the blood, which ultimately aids those who are prone to anaemia or to prevent such issues with lack of red blood cells.
Haematopoiesis is the actual development in producing fresh blood to flow around the body, and when there are not enough cells, people can feel tired, fatigued and feel many other unpleasant effects, which can lead to anaemia. This herb can help to restore blood cells and increase blood flow gradually. It can also help with circulating blood more easily.
Increase Brain Function
Aswagandha is shown to improve cognition and general brain function, especially in children that have memory problems and trouble thinking clearly.
It also helps elderly people with preventing further memory loss and also preventing memory loss in people generally.
Ashwagandha can also improve short term and long term memory as well as retaining memories and improving long term visual memory.
It is interesting to know that Ashwagandha is part of the group Rasayanas also known as Medhyarasayanas – this basically refers to the mind to the mental and intellectual abilities.
Method of Consumption
Ashwagandha can be taken by:
Dissolving the powerderd form in a drink of choice.
Making tea from the power.
It can also be taken in smoothies.
Tablets

Exposure Therapy – Actually Beat Social Anxiety
Anyone who has had severe anxiety will know the daily struggles faced that can be tough and tiring mentally and physically.
All enjoyment of communicating and socialising with people is lost and is hard to really figure out why.
Exposure therapy is a method beating anxiety by literally throwing yourself into the anxious situations that get your fight and flight mode kicking off.
The goal is to endure and rise to noticing how you feel after exposing yourself, whether it be speaking to someone you have never spoke to before, or speaking to someone who you had pre judgements about, either way exposure therapy really develops you into one confident person.
Start Simple
How I began to use exposure therapy was by simply starting off simple, by greeting people at my office job, as soon as I would walk in I would say “Morning” or “Hi” to anyone passing, and if someone asked how I was, I would respond back.
I kept it brief and simple at first as I had never really done this before and had always ignored people when seeing them.
Slowly I developed my confidence and was able to ask people how they were and to ask more open ended questions to gain more questions and answers, thus carrying on a conversation.
Soon enough it was easy , I didn’t feel nervous or anxious and could talk to anyone about anything.
You have to allow yourself to work in baby steps and only then will it be easy for you to start off small and work your way up to feeling more comfortable in different situations and around different people.
Embrace Trip Ups
Of course, during this process you may trip up, stutter and say things that you think you shouldn’t have said but ultimately this is what makes the changes in the background of your ‘mistakes’.
Basically, if you think of the times when your heart races, you sweat, panic, fidget and hide away, you need to start working on exposing yourself in those moments and not to run away, but to instead face what you are fearing.
Get your Smiley Face On
Smiling is a must when it comes to social anxiety and exposure therapy. It’s not easy at first, because you are focusing on what you’re saying and are probably not in tune with your facial expressions. Try to smile more when you talk to people or when you walk past someone – people notice that you smile and will probably smile back at you.
Embrace Discomfort
If you feel uncomfortable around a certain person, talk to them more, make the effort to give eye contact and clear your mind of any judgements and thoughts of that person – just see them as another being.
If you are uncomfortable when sitting on a bus or train, sit yourself at the front seats instead of the back, smile and talk to someone about nothing important – It makes a difference to you.
When you go shopping, go in with the intention to smile at people and make small talk were relevant, or simply walk about the mall and expose yourself to more people and give eye contact.
Accept & Love Yourself
Feeling socially anxious can have a lot to do with appearance as well as one might be self-conscious and afraid of people looking at them, but in the real world that’s how it is, people will look and stare at you and it’s up to you to deal with, most people don’t mean harm, and are just observing their surroundings.
Working on loving yourself and self care can really improve yourself love and enable to you feel more confident about who you are, what you look like and what you speak.
Note your Fears
Whatever and whenever you are uncomfortable around people, note it down and make the intention and effort to really face your fears no matter what; embrace the pain that is temporary and train yourself to ensure the moments were you feel uncomfortable.
“Our anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strengths.”

Charles Haddon Spurgeon
How to Slow Down – The Life Changing After Effects
We all live in a fast paced world where it is tempting to run around aimlessly, forgetting to breathe deeply and removing ourselves from reality.
We are not present, we rush most things, and we are impatient and can’t listen to others problems.
Our minds get overpowered with an abundance of thoughts that we become distorted and indecisive.
When we slow down, our mind and body does too, they start working in harmony, providing your clarify and appreciation for everything around you.
How
Carry Zero Expectations
One of the ways to slow down, is to realise that you don’t know what the future has in store, nor do you know how most things in our life’s are going to pan out.
Most of the time it’s a case of being present and expecting nothing – allowing yourself to be open to all the outcome possibilities that could arise from that circumstance.
When you narrow your expectations, you open your mind and can deal with consequences and realisations more calmly and effectively.
Breathe Deeply
We have all heard people telling us to breathe deep, however it is something we forget or just don’t care to do, but the damage it can do to our health can be obvious and alarming, as your breathing is shallow and ultimately cuts of enough oxygen going to your brain.
When you breathe deep, your body and mind calm down in synergy – you begin to feel connected with yourself and one.
Of course, if you are new to deep breathing throughout the day, you may not notice or have a lot of hope of feeling different, however you need to aware that your breathing is changing and it will take time to adjust, like many other things.
The general rule is: breathe deeply through your nose, into your bellow, hold for five seconds, exhale through mouth.
Tune into Senses
We all struggle to notice our surroundings when we are not in the present moment and constantly in our minds, or we are rushing around, stressed and anxious.
If we make the effort to be present to our surroundings and our body, we will remove our attention from the thoughts we have, to the sensations and feelings we experience.
Benefits
Effortless Actions
The amazing benefit of slowing down is that literally everything you do becomes fun, enjoyable and effortless. You feel as though you could continue doing a task for however long you want and it would not bore you.
It makes diving into the next task extremely pleasant and rewarding. At the same time you feel connected with yourself and people, you want to be social and connect with everything around you.
You get into the flow of life and the tasks you are doing – which excels your performance and quality of life.
Thought Visibility
Through deep breathing, present mindfulness and slowing down you are able to see what thoughts are bothering you and what you need to do to change them or remove them.
The thoughts that are most invasive to you will be easier to deal with and relieve. Negative thoughts that nag you can be controlled more by yourself, you can choose to pay attention or simply remove to the back of your mind.
It is fair to say that slowing down, leads to present moment awareness and an enhanced openness to everything and everyone around us.
We can improve our focus, improve relationships and move on quicker from the situations that may distress us all.
“In the attitude of silence, the soul finds the path in a clearer light and what is elusive and deceptive clears” – Mahatma Gandhi
How to Stay Motivated and Use Time Wisely
We all have difficulties with staying motivated sometimes, and can find it hard to fit tasks into our day, however we can improve and change this by changing the way we do things every day and implementing practical ideas.
With so many distractions these days, people can get caught up in unimportant things that are not developing ourselves or evolving us to the place we truly desire to be.
Point is, when it comes to motivation, we need it all day to get our tasks done and feel like we have achieved something.
Develop a Ritual
Before you start a task, take your favourite herbal tea, coffee or supplement, to get into the mind-set of only focusing on that given project.
You could even do some light exercise such as taking a short walk or meditating before you do the task, to get you in the right head space.
Personally, tons of water in moderation throughout the day, works tremendously for me. I find I have enough energy for the tasks I’m doing and my mind runs smoothly.
With developing a ritual, you will be able to successfully complete the task and whenever you follow the ritual, you will be ready to go.
Choose by Priority
Choose at least three main tasks that have to be completed on that day no matter what, write them down on a piece of paper or on your phone’s notes; whatever works for you, just write it down and stick to it.
When you choose the tasks that are important, you narrow the tasks to just what you need to actually do. After, you can do the less important tasks and reward yourself.
If you fail to get some tasks done, add them to tomorrow’s list and don’t stress yourself, as you can’t get everything done.
Eliminate Distractions
If you know that you will be distracted by your constant message feeds on your phone or any other device, turn your Wi-Fi off or move the phone away, where you won’t be tempted to access it.
There are so many distractions these days that can completely cause us to cease all of our important tasks and what we actually need to do.
Anything that you know is a distraction to you, remove it and start conquering your to do list! Then reward yourself by accessing your distractions.
Become a Creator
It’s easy for many of us to constantly consume information but creating is much more rewarding and beneficial to our long term development and mind set.
We will be able to train ourselves to create, rather than to tedious tasks that waste our time when we could be doing something essential to our future and goals.
So, instead of sitting in front of the TV, grab a book that sounds interesting to you and read – see what happens.
If you reflect on your days prior and see that you react more than create, maybe it’s time to change that and create some solid changes for your goals.
By implementing these tips you can develop your ability to increase your motivation level and ultimately create your reality.
“They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.”
