Mike Robinson has trained in Martial Arts for many years and has always been fascinated by the mystique surrounding them. When he found Wing Chun, a Chinese Martial art brought to the west from Hong Kong, he was immediately drawn to the legends of China's Animal Kung Fu. Later, having trained as a Jikiden Reiki Practitioner, which is an energy healing practice originating from Japan, Mike became more aware of the 'Chi' or life-force energy that surrounds us.

The ideas for the last f…moreIf I found it hard to write, I would quite often go back to the start of the story and read it as if I hadn't read it before. The ideas for the last few chapters would come to me and I would also find something to add in the beginning of the story that would be interesting and help the story flow to the end.

I would also sit alone, close my eyes and see the story unfold in front of me. Choosing to see it from a different character each time would definitely help me to do this. (less)

Someone recently asked if it was mine, I said no at first, but actually it does show how I have grown as a person in my life.

I first found a martial art I was drawn, Wing Chun, and a natural healing process, Jikiden Reiki, that I needed to find. (less)
