Erica Taylor is a proud native of New Jersey. She is a mother, advocate, and dedicated professional. With a bachelor's degree in accounting, she began her career at the age of 17, driven by her passion for numbers and problem-solving. Erica enjoys long walks, listening to podcasts, cooking, journaling, and writing poetry. Above all, she loves spending time with her son, teaching him, and watching him succeed.
As an author, Erica self-published interactive journals for parents in 2019, designed to strengthen emotional bonds with their children. Her notable works include *Tell Me, Mom! Tell Me, Son!* and *Mom’s Advice: Letters to My Son*, both crafted as a lasting legacy for her son. Since then, she has navigated every twist and turn of the journey with resilience, hope, and unwavering determination. Her advocacy is fierce and wholehearted, driven by a strong belief in her son’s potential. She is constantly pursuing opportunities that support his growth and dreams.
Over the past 18 years, Erica has chronicled her and Landon’s shared experiences, always knowing that the day would come when she would write a memoir and publish it after receiving her son’s blessing.
With a deep understanding of the crucial conversations surrounding autism today, Erica hopes to offer encouragement, insight, and solidarity to others navigating similar paths. An autism diagnosis can be overwhelming, but she aims to help others see the beauty within it.
Her debut nonfiction book, *My Little Birdie to a Diagnosis*, is the first step in her mission to inspire and uplift families in the special needs community and to bring awareness and understanding to others. Believing that Landon’s story reflects strength, empowerment, and unwavering hope, Erica is committed to showing others that they are not alone, and this book is only the beginning.
