Thank you for asking me a question! My schedule doesn't always allow for set writing habits since I have school age children and I also sell real estate. Lately, I've been waking at 5 AM and writing for three hours before my children get up. On nice days, I'm at a table on our back porch, which affords a pretty view. It's by far my favorite place to write. I also like writing at my local library and late night in the office where I sell real estate. Those spots are quiet and force me to sit, write and not get up and do things like laundry.

During the book clubs I've attended, the women have largely wanted to talk about the book's sexcapades, the potential of kundalini, trainers/instructors who they believe have hit on them and people they know who remind them of characters in the book. They have also asked specifics about the characters' futures but to answer your question without giving away any spoilers, the following are some good book club questions to begin the discussion.

1) What would you pick as your sexcapade? (This is the most asked question!)

2) What is your favorite sexcapade in the book? (Second most asked question!)

3) Do you believe in the awakening powers of Kundalini?

4) Do you believe Jack has good or bad intentions for his students?

5) Do you know anyone who is like Tory or Leigh or Adair...?

Up, Up With People…

My mother joined an alternative Catholic Church called Emmaus in the ‘70s. It was a newly formed, experimental community with a groovy “Up With People” vibe. Organized by a group of educated and well-intentioned people who were looking for a less fear-based, more liberal approach to religion, it was the ideal community for her.
