But the t…moreHeh. My mom--who is an oil painter--once told me that writer's (or painter's) block is for amateurs--that the pros can't afford that luxury.
But the truth is it happens, and it's awful. I'm sure there are plenty of writers who get stuck worse than I do, but there's definitely been times when I've spent two weeks just staring at the blinking cursor, sure that anything I churn out will be complete rubbish. Eventually I just double my coffee dose and say to myself: "if it's rubbish, so be it. I've got to write something."(less)
