Rachel Renee, born and raised in and around Cincinnati, Ohio, finds herself residing with her family in the suburb of Loveland. After completing a degree in psychology and racking up thousands of dollars in debt, she decided to become a stay at home mom and homeschool her children, all the while working on her writing career. While she is not using her degree in the secular world she uses it on a daily basis, psychoanalyzing her husband of nearly 20 years and two children (15 and 12), her 2 dogs, and her life as a writer and teacher. Just like Rachel enjoys reading books from many different genres, she also enjoys writing different genres as well.
Stay tuned as Rachel continues her journey!

Sometimes it takes a couple of books before I feel inspired to get back to writing. I rarely force myself to write, as I feel like I don't do my best work when it's forced. I also don't read in the genre that I am currently writing in. I don't want to be swayed in my story because of something that another author has written. (less)

“We don't know how our choices can change the course of our lives until they do. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes tragedy for us to realize it.”
Rachel Renee, Instincts

“The eeriness of the weeping moss from the trees, reminding me of shrouds covering the faces of mourners. There are people coming home from work, families going out to dinner, couples walking through the squares. My wish is that none of them are ever touched by the darkness I see.”
Rachel Renee, Human Nature

“You are so much a part of me that it physically hurts when you are away--like I can't fully breathe until you are back again.”
Rachel Renee, Untangling Rose
