While I am on a writing break, I read a lot. Some of my ideas come from reading. I will read something and think about how well the book was written, how the story flowed, and how the characters interacted with one another. I will always start thinking about my own book and how my characters interact, then an idea usually just pops into my head. That is why I read in between. I believe reading wakes up the imagination and gets those creative juices flowing!(less)

When I write I feel like I am sharing a piece of my soul with …moreThe best thing about being a writer is telling a story and having someone else like it. When I write I feel like I am sharing a piece of my soul with someone. I almost feel naked when someone is reading something I have written and I can see them reading it. My books are like my children. It's very personal and I am happy (even if I am scared sometimes) to share the stories floating around in my head with others. I can only hope to one day see my name at least once on the best-selling charts.(less)
