After a summer job at a psychiatric hospital, I decided to do a 4-term course for mental-health carers, Following that I would complete the first of two stages of psychotherapy education and several short courses in cognitive therapy. “However, I must admit that keeping myself to myself has not always been comforting. At times, I seemed to suffer spells of depression and loneliness, longing to become healthy again; of going out and facing a world of injustices, of misery, of widespread indifference.”

Bibiana Krall I just finished -Strangers In Another Country and wanted to praise you and your work. My review is posted on Amazon as well.

Things in Sweden are much harder now. 18 April 2016

At times I was in Sweden walking through the city, then dropped into a world of characters with names like- Mr. Cheddar and Binky. I was allowed to enter their thoughts, dreams and disappointments.

He mourns the past, "Things in Sweden are much harder now" is Jaques way of saying that his love life has taken a turn for the worse. He fares no longer well with "the ladies."

The stories are different in nature, but ring true to the oft-times intense loneliness of living overseas, not feeling like you fit and the search for what you hope for. Have ever lived far away from home and didn't quite find what you expected? These stories will resonate with you. Wry at times, even funny... the everyday is not always what it seems. A glimpse into another point of view is a very good thing and I am honored to have read these stories. " But at times are we human creatures as honest, kind, trustworthy as we at times are inclined to believe?"
