Blu was born in Washington, DC. She began writing poetry at a young age before finding more interest in writing short stories. Creating her own reality by constructing characters and a storyline was her sweet escape. Blu's writing aims to touch the lives of many, specifically the young adult community. Blu had spent years doubting her talent and living in fear of what people would think about her writing but accepted the fact everyone won't like what you produce which became that "push" she needed.
