Paperback version of Karma is now available.
The book nobody wants to admit they've read is finally available in print. Karma's a Sexy Bitch was easy to create with digital hyperlinks, but converting all those links to page numbers was a chore. A chore I must admit I avoided for over 3 years.
I'm sorry to say you won't find many reviews of this book, but many have read it. It's been a best-seller for me. The people I know personally who have read it enjoyed it, but you'll have to take my word for that.

Vacation: Pros & Cons
There are 3 kinds of vacations (okay, there are more kinds, but I'm only going to mention 3): There's the kind that seem to be a total waste of our vacation hours. There's also the kind where you need a vacation to recover from your vacation (like trying to see all of Disney World in only five days). Then there's the kind I just took.
For two weeks, I disconnected from writing, emails, and social media. It took half a day to zoom through my neglected social media. Unfortunately, the ideas I developed on my vacation will take months to accomplish. Here's the short list:
1) I will be making a minor adjustment to my most recent book, Hermes High. One of my main characters, a teenage boy, will be oblivious to the crush a girl has on him. This is much more believable.
2) My query letter to agents will be completely re-written. It will reflect the descriptions I provided to friends and family during vacation. I will be asking for assistance from my followers on social media.
3) I need to research a new pen-name for my new book. A few of my previous works were a bit racy, so it might be a good idea to separate those works from my recent YA work.
4) I would like to re-write my Crux series completely. This will take a lot of time. If I do, it would be better (I promise).

Agent Search Procrastination
I'm supposed to be searching for an agent for my fantastic new book (Hermes High, The Aegis Shield). Instead, I found myself writing the Prologue to its sequel (Hermes High, The Dropout). I don't know how I'm supposed to get anything done when I can't stop writing.
I had such a great idea, I had to write it. Eunice finds herself in an alternate timeline, but she can remember both versions. It allowed me to provide the background of the previous book by comparing it to life without Hermes High. It worked out very well.
Maybe tomorrow I'll work on the agent search again.

Hermes High is written.
The much anticipated release of Hermes High is one step closer. The writing is complete. The next phase is editing, formatting, and possibly an agent search.

Hermes High is Nearly Done
Surprise!
I'm actually making another blog post. It's only been about two and a half months. Personally, I don't know how people do this on a regular basis.
Now for the book news. I've only got a couple chapters left to write. Here's the rub: Hermes High has become such a great read, I'm trying to ensure it has a great ending. This put the brakes on my writing speed. Another problem is that I can't squeeze in everything I wanted unless I make it the length of War and Peace or Battlefield Earth.
So what does this mean to you? I'm sorry to say, I still have months of work to do before the release. The cover is done, but I will still need to convert the book to print and digital. I will also be editing along the way and then reading the "final" product on my eReader.
If you can't wait, I could always use another beta reader. Just drop me a line and we'll set it up.

Hermes High is the new title of Gods of the Mind
I am so grateful to everyone who provided suggestions and preferences for my title change. I believe Hermes High is a superior title - and many others agree.
Since this worked out so well, I decided to ask all my connections on various social media to help me pick a cover.
While the voting takes place, I'll continue writing. I'm about half done (I think). I really can't be sure. The characters have already come to life and I can't tell you how many times they've hijacked my stories.

I'm writing the wrong book - again.
I only wanted to write a few notes before I forgot. The next thing I knew, I was writing Gods of the Mind (tentative title). I'm in Chapter 8 and I can't stop. Chapters 9, 10, and 20-something are begging to be written.

The Sexy Bitch is back!
Karma's A Sexy Bitch is now back on the shelves, so to speak. The previous subtitle of my book included a derivative of a trademarked phrase (Choose Your Own Adventure™). The problem was quickly resolved after following the advice of Melissa Bounty @ Chooseco LLC.
Please note: The Amazon KDP staff were only doing their job. The whole process only took a couple days. The hardest part was making a new book cover, but I think it looks better now anyway. On the bright side, I found an erroneous link inside the book that I corrected, along with a few spelling/grammar errors I never got around to fixing.
