Vacation: Pros & Cons

There are 3 kinds of vacations (okay, there are more kinds, but I'm only going to mention 3): There's the kind that seem to be a total waste of our vacation hours. There's also the kind where you need a vacation to recover from your vacation (like trying to see all of Disney World in only five days). Then there's the kind I just took.

For two weeks, I disconnected from writing, emails, and social media. It took half a day to zoom through my neglected social media. Unfortunately, the ideas I developed on my vacation will take months to accomplish. Here's the short list:

1) I will be making a minor adjustment to my most recent book, Hermes High. One of my main characters, a teenage boy, will be oblivious to the crush a girl has on him. This is much more believable.

2) My query letter to agents will be completely re-written. It will reflect the descriptions I provided to friends and family during vacation. I will be asking for assistance from my followers on social media.

3) I need to research a new pen-name for my new book. A few of my previous works were a bit racy, so it might be a good idea to separate those works from my recent YA work.

4) I would like to re-write my Crux series completely. This will take a lot of time. If I do, it would be better (I promise).
