Doctor Mike Travis has over 18 years of teaching experience in Hawaii. Mike has a Ph.D. is in Educational Technology from the University of Hawai'i Mānoa. He lives with his wife of 28 wonderful years and two daughters on the island of Oahu. For years, Mike has wanted to share the story about his military experience and about his friend who was killed in Operation Desert Storm; this is why he published his first book, "Faded Jeans to Army Greens." Then, catching the "writer's bug," Mike has produced a set of sci-fi novels about Cooper, a young boy living in 2200 underground on the Earth. The series is entitled, "Cooper's Destiny." I love the idea of being able to travel through space easily visiting other worlds and learning more. I would love to have a conversation with the famed Hari Seldon from Issac Asimov's Foundation series or to actually meet R. Daneel Olivaw would be so interesting. Seeing other worlds and experiencing technology that is beyond my wildest dreams would be an amazing experience. If I was forced to go back in time for this question, I would probably choose the wild west. I love the idea of adventure and of seeing uncharted lands.(less)
