There are loads of other things that can be done: there are bits of writing that are less creative, there's research, typing up, spell and grammar checking, etc.

I find when the mood is right I am very productive, so it's better to wait, rather than forcing it.(less)

I remember when I first submitted my book to a publisher, I didn't even understand the response. Apparently, I had made a grammatical error, that I'd never even heard of it - I had to look it up ;-)(less)
