Original post on my blog...enjoy.

This is me
I have heard that readers like to know about authors and that is something I haven’t done much of. Mostly because I don’t think I’m that interesting and I am not being demur when I say that. I lead a quiet life of writing stories and yelling at my laptop. Why would I bore people with that?
It’s also rumored that readers want to know a writers process and Read more of this blog post »

Genius & Hilarious

Steven Pacey’s narration is better than any movie or TV show — absolutely brilliant. His delivery brings this hilarious fantasy novel to life like nothing else.

The Devils is pure fun from start to finish — sharp wit,

I hated this book.

Sophie, the protagonist, was painfully overdone—like slam-your-head-into-a-wall overdone. I was raised Catholic, so I get the homeschooled, sheltered angle. But it takes so long for her to wake up that she becomes downright insuffer

When a Book Deserves Applause

I’m a fan of Blake Crouch. I first discovered his work through the Pines series (still my favorite).

The premise of Run isn’t groundbreaking—there’s a natural phenomenon, people go crazy and violent, and a family has to flee to survive. It’s a familia

The "stay-at-home daughter" movement is so deeply problematic. It's abuse, manipulation, and degradation rolled into one—treating women as if they are incapable of doing anything for themselves without a man’s guidance.

For most of this book, I had zero clue what the story was actually about—and that's completely my fault!
