Originally from Philadelphia, PA, she graduated magna cum laude from Temple University, and as a Distinguished Military Graduate from the Army ROTC Program. She graduated medical school from Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Fort Benning, GA and spent time stationed in South Korea. She enjoys crocheting, sewing, research, judo and Phillies baseball.
