D. Rebbitt is the author behind the Globur Incursion series. He has always enjoyed classic military science fiction. His military career provides him with valuable insight into the realities of the military world. Epic space opera with a military edge best describes the books. Inspired by Heinlein and Weber, the books would be enjoyed by those who like Scalzi, Richard Fox, AK Duboff, or James A. Corey

When writing, he most enjoys the interaction between characters. He has built a universe based on realistic science. His books are laced with a gritty realism that puts characters in interesting situations and dilemmas. Each novel is layered with interconnected events and stories, giving real insight into the minds of the characters.

Evergreen was peaceful, but unique. During the great expansion, a catastrophic quantum drive failure had stranded the Berane colony ship in the Evergreen system. Given their many similarities, the first emperor believed Read more of this blog post »

“
“No, I’m in the supplementary reserve,” Homer pointed out. “As in supplementary to the actual reserve. As in, never call me. Ever.”
D Rebbitt, Revelation: The Globur Incursion Book 10

“In the First Incursion, many millions of imperial citizens perished because we weren’t prepared. The Globur took advantage of that weakness. We must not visit this conflict on our children as we have recently done, for they may not survive.”
D Rebbitt, Revelation: The Globur Incursion Book 10

“
“This mission does not exist, nor will it ever exist. If either of you breathes a word of it. I will end you.”
D Rebbitt, Revelation: The Globur Incursion Book 10

“This vessel will be a primary target, but I will not transfer my flag. I will remain here with you, as I was when we started this journey. If we cannot prevail, we will end together. There is no other choice”
D. Rebbitt, Fulcrum

“A special assignment, he thought. A situation has developed. Those were words you never really wanted to hear, just as you prepared to go on shore leave.”
D. Rebbitt, Contact

“Just where “operational” resided was a guess, really – a gray area that was ruthlessly exploited. It was possible to have 50% of fighters serviceable and be 100% operational. Operational really meant fit for use in war.”
D. Rebbitt, Onslaught

“A Globur beam caught the Marine next to her as Globur flowed out of a hole that suddenly appeared in the bulkhead. The scene unfolded in slow-motion horror.”
D. Rebbitt, Redoubt

“Here we will find victory, and we will become the sword of humanity to punish those who would seek to destroy us.”
D. Rebbitt, Sword: The Globur Incursion Book 5
