After more than a decade as a New Jersey homemaker, followed by two decades working in the corporate world, Frances shifted into teaching and moved to North Carolina with her husband. There, she self-published a supernatural novel and its sequel for adult readers, and a historical fiction for middle school readers. In 2022, World Castle Publishing accepted and released her murder mystery, and Flash Fiction Magazine accepted one of her short stories. Frances, who only knows how to move forward, continues to author short stories while working on the third novels in her supernatural trilogy.

Frances Applequist is starting Say One Kind Thing: This book is meant for a woman who came through a messy childhood and/or a difficult first marriage. It's meant for a woman with submerged feelings and imperfect parenting skills. She often write a line that I weirdly needed at the moment I was reading. That is my very high recommendation.
