Writing it took me on an incredible journey with the Lord. One I pray will be experienced by the readers, as well.

Now I'm very excited to be writing a dystopian novel! I write suspense/thrillers and love it! My agent, Rachelle Gardner, is searching for a home for my first novel, at this very moment. (less)

I put it down and said, "Man, I could write a book based off of THIS!"

Two days later, my publisher and Brian Simmons (translator of The Passion Translation Bible) agreed that I should write Prayers on Fire 365 Days Praying The Psalms.

It was a total God moment!(less)

C.S. Lewis
“The fact that our heart yearns for something Earth can't supply is proof that Heaven must be our home.”
C.S. Lewis

C.S. Lewis
“To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you.”
C.S. Lewis

“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”
Gospel of Thomas

Jeanne Guyon
“Whatever truth you have chosen, read only a small portion of it, endeavouring to taste and digest it, to extract the essence and substance thereof, and proceed no farther while any savour or relish remains in the passage: when this subsides, pick up your book again and proceed as before, seldom reading more than half a page at a time, for it is not the quantity that is read, but the manner of reading, that yields us profit.”
Madame Guyon, A Short and Easy Method of Prayer

Jeanne Guyon
“If knowing answers to life's questions is absolutely necessary to you, then forget the journey. You will never make it. For this is a journey of unknowables -- of unanswered questions, enigmas, incomprehensibles, and most of all, things unfair.”
Jeanne Guyon
