Sean teaches 8th grade social studies and coaches high school hockey and lacrosse in Chaska, MN. After canoeing to Hudson Bay, he attended Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Education. In the summer of 2011, he and three college friends lived off the land in the Absaroka-Beartooth Region of Montana for one month. Sean currently lives in Chaska with his wife and children.

It took me about five years to write "Adventure North," but most of it was done in the final year of writing. I set aside about an hour each night to write consistently.

Also, a great bit of advice I heard for aspiring writers who are 21+... "Write tipsy, edit sober." You don't actually have to be tipsy for this to work. You just need the mindset that errors are fine while you're writing. You are going to make them. Worry about them later during the editing process.(less)

Sean Bloomfield I like to take a walk by myself. No phone, no music, just nature and myself. It really gets the creative juices flowing.
