The basic way I have worked through artist's block is to do work I really enjoy. It's taken me many years and you just have to practice. For years I had to force myself to do art, 5 minutes a day might be a good start. But for the last 2 years I have had to force myself to not do art.(less)

“Maybe there's a God above,
As for me, all I've ever seemed to learn from love
Is how to shoot at someone who outdrew you.
Yeah but it's not a complaint that you hear tonight,
It's not the laughter of someone who claims to have seen the light
No it's a cold and it's a very lonely Hallelujah.”

Majenta,
I don't know how this slipped my notice. I appreciate your "likes" for reviews on a variety of diverse titles. I also love the color magenta!
Are you an artist, writer, creative person? I'm looking to connect with these kind of people. Not sure how this will work on Goodreads, but would like a similar thing to Facebook. Where a bunch of us comment on books, creative stuff, and I'm majorly into spirituality!
Thanks for reaching out, sorry it took me 9 months to notice!
Debbie
