Tom Surbaugh is a West Virginia native and a 1989 graduate of the West Virginia University Reed College of Media. A long-time television writer/producer, Surbaugh was nominated for a national sports Emmy award for his work on the national nightly Totally NASCAR show and is a multiple Telly award winner.

Miracle of Hominy Falls is the author's first book and is self-published.

Something that was forgotten by many is now back in the present and being remembered and talked about. The tragedy to miracle story is approaching the 50 year anniversary mark this coming May. I have had teachers tell me they are going to read this story in their classrooms out loud. That is the ultimate compliment and the best thing about being a writer.(less)
