Are you enjoying my latest "Perfectly Normal" story? Chapter five of "Extraordinary Summer" has just gone up, and Harry is now away from the Dursleys for the rest of the summer!

This fic will be 20 chapters in length, so if my calculations are correct the final chapter will be uploaded on Tuesday 4th of December. So there's months of regular updates to enjoy, guaranteed. :)

Believe it or not I'm still working on editing the later chapters - I'm pouring a lot of work into getting things as polished as possible! I have a great new beta to work with who's doing a fantastic job - it's useful to have a second set of eyes looking over everything. I also have a handful of spot-checkers to advise me on things I feel the need for a little expert advice on. Despite all this effort, sometimes an occasional typo will slip through - please feel most welcome to let me know if you spot any errors.

"Extraordinary Summer" continues to update weekly on Tuesday mornings (Australian time), and chapter 10 has just gone up. We're halfway through now!

Writing has begun on the next fic in the "Perfectly Normal" series, with the first two chapters now complete.

Hi readers! There's a lot of chatter on reddit at the moment about fanfiction dot net being compromised by hackers.

For the time being, I'd recommend ensuring you stay logged out of fanfiction dot net (FFN), clear your cookies, and avoid people's profile pages in particular. View stories on FFN only while logged out, leaving only anonymous reviews.

My fics are all available on AO3, so that's where I'd advise you read them for now. Hopefully the FFN admin will actually be responsive and do something about the hacking and changing of profile pages and passwords.

Chapter 14 of "Extraordinary Summer" has been posted on both sites. Six chapters left to go!

I've got a backlog of reviews to reply to at the moment, and now I'm wary of doing anything on FFN, so replies will be late. I do still love reviews though, and will read them via my email, so please don't stop leaving them (even if you have to leave a warily anonymous review).

Chapter 17 of "Extraordinary Summer" is now up - only three more weeks of updates to go, and it'll be all uploaded! This fic is 20 chapters in length. Work is progressing slowly but steadily on the sequel, and the first four draft chapters are complete. The story won't be finished (or uploaded) for a long time yet, however.

Chapter 19 of "Extraordinary Summer" goes up tomorrow, and the *final* chapter of this fic goes up next week, on the fourth of December.

Work continues on the draft of the next fic in the series, and I have just finished chapter five.

I've also been working sporadically on a short "Smallville" fic when I need a little writing break doing something else; it's up to chapter two. I'll try and catch up with answering more reviews, now I've gotten some solid writing work done.

The FINAL chapter of "Extraordinary Summer", fifth fic in the "Perfectly Normal" series, is now up!

Next week I'll be posting the first chapter of a short "Smallville" fic, an angsty platonic fic starring Clark & Lex.

I have a new story up today, the first chapter of a two chapter Smallville fic. I'm dipping my toes in another new fandom! American readers (in particular), please feel very welcome to correct me if you spot any non-American spelling choices or other errors.

"Hygiene Hypothesis", Smallville/Superman fandom, rated M (for violence, reference to suicidal impulses), Clark & Lex (platonic/pre-slash).

Summary: It was entirely Clark’s fault that Lex decided he had to become a supervillain.
