There's now 10 chapters up for "Unprecedented Competition" - we're a quarter of the way through!

Chapter 16 of "Unprecedented Competition" is up. :)

My city's out of lockdown as we seem to have stopped community spread of covid (fingers crossed), and we're on mask-wearing requirements across the state now for the next fortnight. In my local area compliance seems high, around 90-95%, but it's those last few arseholes who are really frustrating. I expect out in regional areas compliance will be lower, as there's a higher likelihood people will be blase about their low chances of being infected or infectious.

Next Friday's chapter may be posted early - like 12 hours early - as all going well I'll be travelling back home from a within-the-state holiday.

I wanted to work in an extra scene this chapter of Tonks shapeshifting to a male form just for fun, and Harry and her (him) chatting about her (his) powers and pronouns, but there just wasn't time to tweak it, especially since I slept in this morning. I'm not sure I can really smoothly insert such a scene anyway. WDYT?

Next chapter we're back at Hogwarts, BTW. :)

Chapter 20 of "Unprecedented Competition" is now up. It's 12 hours early because I'll be on a train most of tomorrow heading home from a family holiday. I should have wifi on the train but it may be unpredictable, so I figured an early chapter would be better received than a possibly late one!

I'm running behind replying to reviews - family has to come first - so if you're eager to get a reply on a review remember to ask for one and I'll be happy to prioritise replying to you. If you don't need a reply, just let me know "no reply required".

We're at the halfway mark for the fic now (20 of 40 chapters) so if you're waiting until it's all up note you've got 10 weeks to go. :)

Covid's under control in my state again with no community transmission, so mask requirements have been lifted (for most locations). I've been very glad this past year that I live in Australia.

We're in the home stretch now! With chapter 37 freshly posted this morning, there's only three chapters left to go for "Unprecedented Competition". The final chapter will go up next Friday, 25th June 2021.

"Unprecedented Competition" is now up in its entirety. If you've been waiting for the final chapter to go up before you start reading, now's the time! There will be one final fic in the "Perfectly Normal" series, but expect a looong break before it goes up. Subscribe to "Have you Forgotten What Happened in This Series" or to me as an author (or the fic series as a whole, on AO3) to be sure to be alerted when it is eventually written and complete and starts being posted.

Time for me to get cracking with a final bit of post-publication editing, then to see what I can do with some of the many unfinished WIPs that are awaiting attention.
