Part of this creating thing is understanding how you personally connect with the creativity channel. If I'm not feeling it, I'll get up and go for a run, or go walk on the beach, or drive Pacific Coast Highway. Those are three things that for me, personally, that will get that creative channel to open. Staring at a blank piece of paper can be your enemy sometimes. However, having said that, at some point I do sit back down and buckle down to work. Even if what I do that day is not good, a deadline is a deadline. So the getting up and moving isn't a free pass to not create, it's just a jump start to get the creativity flowing. (less)
