As for your Celebrate Diversity! book, I think that's great. Yes, Otis Grows certainly shines a light on how cultures can sometimes clash. It's couched in a bit of a bizarre premise (that an onion could be the son of a chicken and a flower) but my hope is that parents and kids can get past the "genetics" and find some things to talk about. We were honored recently to make a Top Ten list for books families should own about bullying.

This world seems crazier by the minute, but I think we can all find some hope in reading to our children.
