Hi Amith

As for a sequel... Battle Mage was always conceived as a standalone story, which is why I was so keen to release it as a single book rather than splitting it up into two or three. Having said that, a lot of people have asked about a sequel and the characters still exist in my mind so I certainly wouldn't rule it out at some point. However, I am pretty darn slow as a writer so it might be some time before I release anything new.
Thanks for your question and for letting me know your thoughts.

lol Hi Julie. I've never heard such a nice way of someone saying, 'Come on Flannery. Pull your finger out! It's been bloomin ages!' :)

Well, the mulling is going fine. Getting close to finishing this new book and also been doing some serious mulling about the world of Wrath. So shouldn't be too long before there's a new relatively short fantasy book out and then, I'll have to see where the road takes me after that...

Sorry to keep you waiting

“A silence settled over the city, a silence that spoke of twenty thousand equally sad goodbyes: lover to lover, mother to son, and father to confused and frightened child. They promised to be careful. They promised to return. But a soldier cannot keep such promises. He can only hope that they come true.”
